About Us

Baba Cool opened in Fort Greene more than a decade ago as a small Brooklyn-casual café. Over time we’ve grown with the neighborhood. By day we’re still a mellow spot for coffee, lunch, and weekend brunch in the garden. By night, the lights dim, drinks are poured, and dinner begins.

Our space is bright, our vibe is warm, and the garden is open for outdoor dining when the weather plays nice. At heart, baba cool will always be community-first. Just steps from BAM Theatre, locals, artists, families, and friends have been gathering here for years.
